Kristi Lynn Russell

DVM

Dr. Russell first became interested in becoming a vet when she had the opportunity to work alongside her dad, who was a small animal veterinarian. During those formative years, she learned how to be a good doctor and business owner through his example.

Today, Dr. Russell finds her job extremely rewarding, as she enjoys the opportunity to witness the human-animal bond firsthand. “It is my privilege to play a primary role in this relationship, while observing the dynamics and how they affect the overall well-being between pets and their owners. I love my patients and their people.”

Previously, Dr. Russell majored in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in English at Baldwin Wallace University. She graduated from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.

When she’s not working, Dr. Russell enjoys living an active lifestyle while balancing it with time to unwind. Her hobbies include weightlifting, HIIT, running, triathlons, horseback riding, enjoying nature, reading, baking, singing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Russell has several pets: a French bulldog named Cooper, a Boston terrier named Archie, hairless guinea pigs named Gus, Minnie, and Clarabelle, two cats named KD and Betty Lou, a Rex rabbit named Oakley, two horses named Poco and Frisby, and an old eastern box turtle named Cecil.

She has three children: Emma, Addie, and Cameron, and her spouse Mark is a senior high school youth pastor at Gathering Point Church. Dr. Russell is an active member of this church as well as volunteer for mission trips and vaccine clinics.

She’s also a proud member of the following organizations:

  • American Veterinary Medical Association
